On behalf of the 2012 SFU Model United Nations secretariat, I would like to announce a change of date for this year’s conference. Due to an abundance of conferences this spring in addition to a number of unfortunate setbacks and technical difficulties, the secretariat has unanimously decided to postpone the conference until Fall 2012.  We hope to take advantage of this opportunity to not only provide the best conference possible and allow delegates the necessary preparation time, but also to make a permanent shift in the date of our conference.  While this decision may be seen as the result of some setbacks, we continue to look forward to an amazing conference, and plan to build on all of the hard work that has been done to this point, in order to host the conference that our delegates deserve.
